Maria's is looking for a self-starter, knowledgeable, flexible, and game changer Industrial Engineer. The right candidate is a peer who is passionate about industry disruption. This is a position that requires hands on experience with the home and office cleaning crews. We're looking to work with a top notch engineer who wants to be part of the first cleaning company to bring full home maintenance automation to every home in the United States.
We’re looking for a leader who is a game changer and wants to explode the array of possibilities to create and bring automation to the industry. A background in robotics is preferred. As well as a background knowledge in Kaizen, Lean Management, and Six Sigma is a plus. Flexibility to replicate the 25+ years of home and office maintenance experience and migrate it to an automated system.
Main Activities
– Eliminate wasted time and resources in Maria’s processes
– Build quality standards into workplace systems
– Find low-cost but reliable alternatives to expensive new technology
– Establish process standards to create service delivery on short notice
– Turn every employee into a quality control inspector
– Revise processes and inject continuous flow into operations
– Create a pull system to avoid overproduction
– Level out the workload
– Create a “stop and fix the problem” initiatives into the cleaning crews
– Make problems visual via a 5S System
– Review and establish use of only reliable tested technology
– Replicate cleaning operations into a robotic system
– Promote the launch and production of new home automated equipment
Education & Experience
– Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering
– 5+ Years experience
– Bi-Lingual is a plus (English-Spanish)
